Cornwall Waste Solutions (CWS) have announced their exciting new partnership with Cornish-based Charity, The Hugs Foundation. Hugs hope the partnership will help raise more awareness of their work so they can reach more people who need mental health and well-being support in Cornwall.
Shane Beadle, Director of CWS comments: “We’re really excited to be working with Hugs and help promote sustainability, well-being, and human and animal welfare across the County. They are incredibly passionate about their work and making a difference to people’s lives.”
CWS are waste management experts based in Cornwall, partnering with local organisations and businesses across the South West. Their mission is to deliver reliable waste solutions that enable growth, without harming the environment.
Laura Dennis, fundraiser at Hugs comments: “CWS has already made a huge impact. Our new signs will help us provide valuable information for our visitors. Plus we’ve been introduced to helpful new contacts to help us improve our Charity, such as, enhancing our health and safety training. CWS will help Hugs to carry out its mission to improve animal welfare and enable people to make positive changes to improve their mental well-being. With support from businesses like CWS, we can continue to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted, abandoned and abused horses and ponies. It also means we can provide supportive interventions for children, young people and the elderly, who are either suffering from; mental ill health, social isolation, deprivation, disadvantages, and disabilities.”
CWS will support their charity of the year, the Hugs Foundation throughout 2020 as they continue to bring positive change to people and animals across Cornwall.
