Join our 2027 Stable Minds campaign
Why stable minds?
- This is a Charity of the Year campaign, for businesses which intend to choose The Hugs Foundation and support it throughout 2027.
- The campaign will run for the whole of 2027. This is the 10th year The Hugs Foundation has been delivering its services for Cornwall (and a bit beyond).
- It is a campaign which allows your team to decide. You can choose to support the work we do for equines. Or you can decide to support the work we do with children. Or you can support both.
- Your business can sign up now. Together we can get everything ready for launch in January 2027, but we will also welcome new businesses throughout the year, to match your preferred start date or changeover from your previous charity.

Sponsoring a rescue pony
This is really popular with every business package. You can choose your horse, pony or donkey. Receive digital resources to share in your business. Come and visit your rescue. Where possible get selfies. Share on your socials, on your intranet, with your customers and suppliers. Will you sponsor a celebrity pony, or an under-pony? Instagram perfect.
Team Visit to Hugs
A simple group VIP walkabout to see the difference you are making in action.
Team Volunteering Day
Come and help us with a transformation challenge. Previous examples include decorating the childrens Hub space, planting out the vegetable garden, re-lining the sensory garden pond, building track systems, building fire pits, getting ready for big on site events and many more. Expect to be in the great outdoors and make some great memories, with before and after team photos. We will need your help to meet the cost of materials needed for the project.
Make a business donation
Straightforward. A donation from profits from your sale of goods or services. Wow. Thank you.
A staff team (or one or two) doing a Challenge event
The possibilities are endless. You could field a team of 4 for the annual Bodmin 10 Tors in May. Or how about the Three Peaks Challenge? We have teamed up with Charity Challenge – visit the Challenge Fundraising page on this website for more information and to see all the Challenge options.
Donate raffle prizes and auction prizes
These can be the products and services you offer. Membership vouchers. Accommodation or entertainment vouchers. Experience and attraction vouchers. Can you provide entertainment? Or can you build something money can’t buy? We have a series of events planned for 2027, and these donations will help us raise funds. Thank you.
Sponsor an event
Can you be the lead sponsor for a charity lunch event, a fundraising dinner, a barn dance and ceilidh. Even better, be a sponsor and bring a table of guests….lets have lots of fun in 2027.
Buy something each month from the Hugs Foundation Amazon wish list
This is so easy and so helpful to a small charity like the Hugs Foundation. It is something the business or your team can do individually and there is something to suit every budget. Everything on the list is either needed for the equine care or to help deliver the wellbeing activities for children. Follow the QR code. Thank you
Match Funding
Your staff team is raising money with a sponsored car wash, or someone in your business is running a half marathon, or the staff are having a bake sale, or your customers are making donations at point of sale. Could the business do some match funding to boost their efforts and even double up the funds raised for The Hugs Foundation Charity?

A money saving option. Whether its printing services, a new laptop, bales of hay or packs of crayons. The chances are lots of businesses in Cornwall could help just by doing what they do every day. Just without the bit where you invoice the customer. If you can, thank you.
Second a team member to help us get a project done
Someone in your team can help us get a project over the line. You can spare them for a few days, a week or longer. They would love to come and help. Its a win win win. Lets do this.
