Corporate Volunteer Day with Suez

On Tuesday we had some brilliant volunteers from SUEZ UK visit Hugs HQ. They had a varied day that included:

 

Weeding and clearing our sign flower bed

Clearing the laminitic paddock

Creating dens for the pigs for enrichment

Grooming and handling some of our rescues

 

The volunteers were able to meet all the animals and learn about their stories. It was also farrier day for some of the horses and ponies, so they were able to see some of the remedial farriery taking place and why it is needed.
