1) Fundraising & Marketing Assistant – 14 hours per week 

2) Youth Well-Being Support Worker – 21 hours per week

We are absolutely thrilled to announce we have been shortlisted for the People’s Projects! We are one of 5 charities in our region and the top 3 will win up to £70,000 in National Lottery grant funding to support their local community. The amazing Liz Nolan Theatre Dance School have very kindly chosen Hugs as their charity to raise funds for from their show on Sunday 26th March 2023 at either 2pm or 6.30pm. Liz runs fab shows that have a great combination of acting and dancing, so get your tickets booked! They also have some incredible raffle prizes! Liz has been raising money for charities through her dance and drama shows for over 30 years so please support them and Hugs, whilst having a lovely day out at the theatre 💚

Synopsis – Long, long ago when the earth was young and Mother Nature breathed life into the land, it created an idyllic place but then the witches came causing destruction and fear. A sorceress cast a powerful spell trapping the witches inside a mighty oak tree and so they remained for many years until one day, an unsuspecting girl untied the enchanted rope around the tree releasing the witches. What will happen to the children now? Can the witches be defeated?

Dude Goes to University!

Dude Goes to University!

Yesterday, Dude and the team visited Newquay University Centre Cornwall College for a guest lecture and some well-being visits. The team had a lovely time meeting all the staff and students and telling them all about the vital work that Hugs does. Dude especially enjoyed meeting everyone and the fish!
